  • In Job 16, we see Job at one of his lowest points. Surrounded by friends who wound him with accusations instead of comfort, Job feels crushed and abandoned. Yet, in verse 19, he lifts his eyes and declares:


  • This week’s reading was Job 10-15, but let’s back up a bit to review some important passages in Job 4-6.

     

    Job 4:1—Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said: “If anyone attempts a word with you, will you become weary?”


  • Now that we have ended with Proverbs, we will begin with Job.

     

    Let’s start with chapter 1. This book has an unknown author and is the book most widely used to talk negatively about God's nature & character.  I think most people know the premise of this book.
