Overall, in these chapters, we hear from David as he cries out for help day and night for himself. He is crying out so deeply that his body and bones hurt. He is totally worn out from groaning. But even in the midst of his struggle, he takes time to pray for others.

We just spent 42 days reading the story of Job. From beginning to end, it's entirely about conversations (And if you know me, you know I love talking with people!)! First, it's angels and God. Then Satan shows up in the conversation.

If you know me, you know I’m an extrovert, and my calendar is always full. I can hardly keep up with my own self. Then this comes. This sudden stop to my life as I’ve known it. It’s like God is saying to me, "no more ... settle down. It’s just you and me now."  He is bringing me back to the basics of my relationship with Him. I’m sure He is doing the same with many of us.
