Providing Comfort & Support

Ecclesiastes tells us there’s a season for everything, and during those tough seasons, we need support. Spirit of God Fellowship has several different ministries that provide comfort and care during the challenging times of life.

MARRIAGE CARE

We believe every couple can win at marriage, but you just need to use the tools God has provided. Our Marriage Care ministry empowers, equips, and inspires couples by offering counseling, workshops, and fellowship.

Throughout the year, our Marriage Care ministry provides Marriage Care Classes, Premarital Counseling, and Couples Counseling, as well as other events and workshops.

FAMILY CARE

Family matters can be complicated, and sometimes we need a little help to get through tough times. Our Family Care ministry may be able to offer insight.

Families can sign up for a 45-minute Care Session. Care Sessions are free and available to any couple or family who needs to talk through a specific situation.

GRIEFSHARE

DIVORCE CARE

If you have experienced divorce or separation, Spirit of God Fellowship offers hope, healing, and support through free 13-week group sessions through the nationally-recognized program DivorceCare.

Beginning in the fall and running through spring, DivorceCare meets each Tuesday at 7:00pm.

COMFORT TEAM

When a member of church is hurting, our Comfort Team steps up to be the healing hands and feet of Jesus. Our Comfort Team, led by elder Phil Fornett, calls and visits those who are going through periods of bereavement, serious illness, or other difficult life events.

PRAYER MINISTRY

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere” (Ephesians 6:18). 

As Christians, we have the privilege of praying to the Father, on behalf of others. In this world, people have a variety of needs, such as healing, comfort, and encouragement. The prayer ministry is overseen by our elders and is made up of a group of ordinary Christians who depend upon our extraordinary God and want to help those in need.
