No one enjoys the heat of the furnace. In our lives, the "fire" often comes in the form of deep struggles, testing trials, and moments that expose our deepest faults. It’s painful, but it is purposeful.

When we come to Jesus, we are not suddenly where we need to be as a person or as a Christian. In fact, we spend a lot of time trying and falling and getting back up and falling again, and the cycle repeats. 

Living the Christian life doesn't mean a life without suffering; everyone in life must go through difficult times. However, these tough times are the same times when we experience that "His grace is sufficient."
